Start earning now — with a licensed managing partner

Wenexus keeps a pool of vetted partners who can lawfully be appointed as your gewerberechtlicher Geschäftsführer. The partner brings the recognised Befähigungsnachweis, joins your company officially and takes responsibility for the professional side — while you run your own business and earn, instead of waiting years for a qualification of your own.

Honest about the lawThis is not “renting a certificate”. The law requires the partner to genuinely work in your company — either employed for at least half the normal weekly working hours with full social insurance, or as a member of the body authorised to represent the company. We structure the arrangement transparently, so you never run into trouble with the authorities.

Obtain your own Befähigungsnachweis

In parallel we guide you towards your own qualification: recognition of your diploma and practice through the individuelle Befähigung, a Meister- or Befähigungsprüfung, evidence of your work experience. Once the licence is in your name, the business is entirely yours — no partner involved.

  1. We assess your documents, your diploma and your years of practice.
  2. We choose the optimal route: individuelle Befähigung or examination.
  3. We prepare and file the documents (in Vienna: MA 63) and accompany you to the decision.
  4. We register your own Gewerbe.

Honest answers to the hard questions

Yes. § 39 GewO provides for it explicitly: for a regulated Gewerbe, a legal entity must appoint a gewerberechtlicher Geschäftsführer holding the relevant Befähigungsnachweis. This is not a way around the law — it is what the law requires.

“Renting” is colloquial shorthand. In law the partner genuinely joins the company: either as a member of the body authorised to represent it, or as an employee working at least half the normal weekly hours with full social insurance (§ 39 Abs. 2 GewO). A sham appointment is punishable (§ 367 Z 7 GewO) — which is precisely why we structure the arrangement lawfully and nothing else.

You appoint a new one: legal entities and registered partnerships within 6 months, sole traders within 1 month. We cover the replacement from our partner pool.

Yes, and that is exactly what we recommend: the fast route is the start, your own Befähigungsnachweis is the goal. We run both stages in parallel.

The recognition procedures under §§ 373c–373e apply only to qualifications from the EU/EEA and Switzerland. For a Ukrainian diploma the route is a different one — the individuelle Befähigung (§ 19 GewO): the authority weighs your diploma, your Dienstzeugnisse and your work experience as evidence. We put that document package together for you.

The Gewerbeanmeldung itself is free of charge (§ 333a GewO), and since 2024 the Meister- and Befähigungsprüfung are free for the first and second attempt. Side costs may arise — translations, notarisation.

It depends on the route. The fast route with a partner gets you started considerably sooner; the individuelle Befähigung procedure in Vienna (MA 63) can take up to 6 months.
