«We have no technical means to certify remotely.» You are not the first to hear this. Most notaries in Ukraine do not work with citizens living abroad.
He will certify the signature. But the document has to be drafted correctly for the Ukrainian authority — in Ukrainian, with the right references to ЦК, СК, ЗК. Otherwise Ukraine won't accept it.
That's why we handle all three steps for you — from the document draft to the apostille at the Austrian BMEIA.

What this allows
Preparing document drafts, translation, filling in forms, representing the client before Austrian administrative authorities (BMEIA, MA35, notarial consultations under §136 Abs 3 Z 3 GewO), and acting as an intermediary with notaries. Confirmed by the ruling of the LG Klagenfurt of 28.09.2019.

What this provides
Qualified electronic signatures (QES) and electronic identification have the same legal force in all EU countries as a handwritten signature. This is the legal basis for remote identity verification via ID Austria.

What this means
A document apostilled in Austria (Bundesministerium für Europäische und Internationale Angelegenheiten, BMEIA) is accepted in Ukraine and in over 120 countries without further legalisation. Ukraine has been a party to the convention since 2003.

Article 100 of the Law «On Notariat» and Articles 13 and 34 of the Law «On Private International Law» expressly provide for the recognition in Ukraine of notarial documents executed abroad with an apostille. Law No. 2801-IX of 21.11.2022 (in force since 03.12.2023) additionally regulated remote notarial acts.

03 — The process
From the first call to delivery of the document to Ukraine — 5 to 7 working days. Here's how it looks step by step.
You fill in a short 5-question form or message us in a messenger. Within 1 working day a manager schedules a 15-minute video call (Zoom, Google Meet or Telegram). Together we determine the document type, scope and deadline.
Reply within 1 dayWe work on the basis of a public offer (öffentliches Angebot, §861 ABGB) — the full text with the service terms, fixed price and limits of liability is published on the website. Acceptance of the offer is the payment: 50% deposit to start the work, 50% — after the finished document is issued.
SEPA · cards · KlarnaWe prepare the document draft in two languages in a single file: in Ukrainian (with references to ЦК, СК, ЗК of Ukraine) and in German (for the notary). We agree it with you. Corrections — 1 round.
1–2 daysTwo options: (a) remotely via ID Austria + QES from A-Trust (for documents where Ukrainian law allows electronic certification); (b) in person — we book you an appointment with a partner notary in Wien-Innere Stadt, accompany you to the meeting and translate.

Power of attorney · Sale of an apartment in Kyiv

Situation
The mother is in Vienna; the apartment in Kyiv (Pechersk district) needs to be sold to buy a home in Austria. A trip to Ukraine is impossible — the mother is under continuous treatment.
What we did
In 6 days we prepared a bilingual general power of attorney for the sister in Kyiv, with the authority to sign the real estate purchase agreement and receive the funds to a bank account. Signing at a partner notary in Wien-Innere Stadt. Apostille at the BMEIA. Translation. Delivery by Nova Poshta to Kyiv in 4 days.
Result
The apartment was sold after 5 weeks for €82 000. The sister signed the agreement under the power of attorney without any issues.
Consent for a child to travel
The K. family · Wien-Floridsdorf · since 2022
Situation
Summer 2025, the child is to travel to Ukraine to the grandmother for 6 weeks. The father lives in Lviv and is willing to give consent, but required the document to be certified in Austria with an apostille — for a problem-free border crossing.
What we did
In 4 working days we prepared the mother's consent for the child's temporary travel to Ukraine. All online via ID Austria + QES — the mother did not leave home. Apostille, translation, courier delivery to the father's address in Lviv so that he had a copy.
Result
The child crossed the border without any problems. The document was accepted by all border services.
Corporate power of attorney
O. M. · co-owner of a ТОВ · Wien · since 2019
Situation
The co-owner of a Kyiv ТОВ (Ukrainian LLC) moved to Vienna. The partners agreed to buy out his share, but transferring a share in Ukraine requires notarial certification of the signature and registration of the changes in the ЄДР. Travelling to Kyiv is impossible.
What we did
In 7 working days we prepared a bilingual power of attorney for the sale of the corporate share with special conditions: a minimum price, payment only to a designated account, and a ban on transfer to related parties. The powers — to sign the share purchase agreement and the handover act, and to file the changes with the state registrar. Signing via ID Austria + QES, BMEIA apostille, delivery to Kyiv.
Result
The share was sold and the new list of members registered in the ЄДР within 3 days.
Power of attorney · Property sale

Situation
The owner was selling a commercial complex in Lviv (warehouse and office, 2,200 m²). A real-estate deal in Ukraine requires notarial certification and registration in the State Register of Property Rights. Personal presence in Lviv is impossible.
What we did
In 9 working days — a bilingual general power of attorney for the property sale with a clear list of powers: to sign the purchase agreement, receive the funds in a designated account, and file the documents with the registrar. Entered in the Unified Register of Powers of Attorney. In-person signing at a partner notary in Wien-Innere Stadt, BMEIA apostille, delivery to Lviv.
Result
The complex was sold for €410,000, and the buyer's ownership registered in the State Register of Property Rights.

08 — Guarantees
In 4 years of practice — not a single case of a notary or registry in Ukraine rejecting a document because of our error. If it does happen — we redo it free of charge or refund 100% of the amount within 1 working day.
The price we quote during the consultation is the price on the issued Invoice. No "additional fees" at the end. If the scope of work changes (you've changed your mind — it became two documents instead of one), we agree on it and issue a new Invoice before starting the work.
All your documents and data are protected under GDPR/DSGVO. The public offer contract includes a clause on professional confidentiality. Documents are stored only until the case is completed + 7 years (as Austrian tax law requires), after which they are deleted.
Public offer contract · §861 ABGB The terms of cooperation — a fixed price, a clearly defined result, completion timelines and refund conditions — are published as a public offer contract. There is no need to sign a separate document: you accept the offer by paying the issued Invoice, after which we begin the work.
